In 2025, I predicted that 2026 would be a shitty year. Well, it was and it wasn’t. It wasn’t all that bad, all things considered — at least so far. It could nose dive should in the last third should Trump declare martial law over the 2026 midterms.
But hopefully — hopefully — that won’t happen.
Yet for a variety of reasons but public and personal, 2027 is going to suck. It is going to suck so bad — especially on a personal basis — that it will be quite memorable. It’s almost like Trump is trying to hurt me personally with some of his policy objectives.
Did I mention how much 2027 is going to suck?
All I can do is just hunker down and enjoy the last few months of a normal life before all hell breaks loose. Or, put another way, I can enjoy this idyllic, unusual situation I’ve found myself in for an extended amount of time before it ends rather dramatically.
But I’m a survivor. Or, at least, I like to think I am. So while things will get EXTREMELY BUMPY for me personally in 2027, I’m a grown man. I will survive, as the song delcares.
