A Greater Than Zero Chance Of A Civil War / Revolution In The USA By The End Of 2026…Exists…Maybe

We seem to be careening towards a dark and unknown shore. Trump grows more and more bonkers, seemingly by the moment. And, so, it definitely seems at least possible that — probably because of the 2026 elections — the USA has some sort of severe political disruption up to and including civil war / revolution.

Now, I have been talking such “hysterical doom shit” for years and years now and nothing has happened — in large part because Republicans have gotten what they wanted and so they have had no need to rebel (for the most part)

So, as such, if there is any sort of civil war / revolution, it will be because Blues have had enough and there’s a major uprising. I still have my doubts that such a thing will happen, but…I have to admit that I’m growing a little uneasy.

Trump keeps poking the bear, as it were, and there may come a point when Blues have had enough and they finally fight back. How exactly that “fighting back” might show itself is any’s one’s guess.

It will be interesting to see how things progress, going forward.

Martial Law In The USA Because Of The 2026 Midterms Seems Like A Real Possiblity

The only reason why I bring up the possibility of martial law because of the 2026 midterms is Trump keeps pushing the Overton Window farther and father down the road — moving the goal posts.

So, now, he’s talking about using the Insurrection Act in Minnesota, but by the time the 2026 midterms roll around, it could be he will want to invoke martial law so he can “cancel” the elections or something just as devious.

If he does that, then, of course, all bets are off.

We could have a massive popular uprising in the USA not seen since the American Civil War. Or something. Something really bad WILL happen if Trump fucks with the 2026 midterms.

All the conditions for Trump to do something untoward around the 2026 midterms are there. Trump doesn’t want to get impeached again and if it looked like there might be a “Blue Wave” that could take even the Senate to the point that Trump might be convicted if impeached, then, yeah, I could see Trump “canceling” elections.

Gird Your Loins

I suspect we’re about to lurch into a more dramatic time in Trump’s second term now that he’s sending armed troops into Portland. I say this because even though Antifia doesn’t even exist, there are some scallywags in the city who might use the rubric of the organization to throw a Molotov Cocktail at troops.

And then they fire back, people die and suddenly the entire country has protests. Which Trump, of course, will possibly use as justification for martial law.

That’s been the point of sending troops into Blue cities all along. Trump is itching for an excuse to take things to the next level so, lulz, no one seems willing to stop him.

Trump would have two options if someone did throw a Molotov Cocktail in Portland. The Insurrection Act and martial law. I’m thinking martial law because there is a off-term election about to take place a in a few months and, who knows, maybe he might use some isolated violence in Portland to cancel the elections to prove a point.

Maybe.

Anyway, I’m sure someone is going to narc on me and I’ll find myself in some ICE camp. I hope it has wifi.

Martial Law Appears Inevitable

It seems as though marital law is now inevitable. The scenario is this — in late February, it’s clear that Society Security checks aren’t going to go out as normal. This causes huge upheaval across the country and Trump strikes — he uses Red State National Guard troops on Blue State protesters.

People get hurt, things escalate and he declares marital law. He will probably arrest a lot of people he doesn’t like at this point — many of them elected officials. So, there you go. That’s my fear at this point.

It will be interesting to see how far the U.S. Military is going to be willing to go at the behest of Tyrant Trump. But I also think that the courts and the remaining Congress will continue to function as if they mean something when they definitely don’t.
