The Vision Thing: How To Topple Tyrant Trump’s MAGA Nazi Regime

Absolutely no one listens to me, so this is just me having some fun using my native tendency to run scenarios. As I keep saying, at the moment it seems as though the MAGA Nazi plot against America being concocted by Agenda47 and Project 2025 has a crucial flaw: no paramilitary group.

Tyrant Trump, because he is a lazy doofus, simply assumes that if he invokes the Insurrection Act that that, unto itself, will be enough to pacify a restless nation mad at him for going full MAGA Nazi tyrant.

The crux of the issue is, well, Trump.

Any other Republican — ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN — could peacefully shepherd us into an autocratic managed democracy without any problems. American democracy is on its last legs.

But this is ding-dong Trump. So he’s going to come into power in 2025 and frantically do all sorts of things that will really, really piss people off — many of them Traditionalists — and, as such, prime the country for something we’ve never seen before: a military coup.

Now, remember, even if Trump has some sort of secret underground mass of paramilitary people waiting to pop out in late January 2025, he can’t use them to do what the Nazis used the SA to do — browbeat people into submission. The country is too big, too decentralized and has too strong a democratic tradition.

So, if the MAGA Nazis “win” it will be because Radical Moderates let them win. As such, as I’ve written before, what I would do is organize some sort of massive strike. Women, because they really, really hate Trump, would be the perfect group to lean into with any sort of national strike. At least at first.

But for either a Women’s Strike are a General Strike to work, things would have to be really, really, REALLY bad. Americans, in general, are pretty laid back. We just don’t even think in terms of a General Strike. We think if we vote, thing gradually we get what we want. So for a General Strike to happen, Trump would have to have corrupted the administration of justice in such a conspicuous, dramatic way that millions of Americans would freak the fuck out.

I think if things did get that bad, then you have a Women’s Strike, then a General Strike and then you appeal to the U.S. Military to remove Tyrant Trump because of the 14th Amendment. I know a court in Colorado spit the difference on that issue just today, but if the U.S. Military is involved, that, unto itself, would be enough pressure to get the courts to say, “Yeah, Trump can’t even be in office. Have at it.”

The last goal of any General Strike would be the calling up of a Constitutional Convention. But it would have to be done in such a way that the fucking MAGA Nazis couldn’t cram through MAGA Nazi Enabling Acts.

One last thing — none of this would happen in a vacuum. It would not be fun. It would be scary as hell because there is a pretty good chance that if we did manage to topple Tyrant Trump, that there would be a Secession Crisis because of it as Red States left the Union in protest.

So, I don’t want any of this to really happen. I just like to run scenarios. I like to make my abstract fears concrete. Keep the faith.

Rage Against The Machine: Plotting A Glorious Revolution In Early 2025

To My Fellow New Lincolnites

I love scenarios. So, let’s game how out Radical Moderates might topple Tyrant Trump when it becomes clear that he’s going full tyrant. This is just for fun. I mean no harm. And, besides, no one takes me seriously or listens to me, anyway. Lulz!

General Strike
If New Lincolnites and Radical Moderates of all political stripes could organize some sort of General Strike that would be the first indication that Tyrant Trump was in trouble. I would appeal to women. I would make it clear to women that Tyrant Trump wanted to ban abortion — and contraception of any sort — and if they just didn’t show up to work then maybe malignant ding-dong Tyrant Trump might sit up and taken notice.

Take Trump Tower
I hate violence, so this is just me spit-balling. But if you could organize the “taking of Trump Tower” that would be way to fucking rattle Tyrant Trump’s cage. Burn the shithole to the ground. Hopefully without anyone getting hurt.

Seize New York City
If you could somehow have a general uprising in New York City to the point that you had something along the lines of a “Free City” that, too, would be a way to hobble Tyrant Trump’s attempts to size control. Again, I don’t want anyone to get hurt! This is just a daydream!

Co-opt The U.S. Military
Our best best to topple ding-dong Tyrant Trump is to co-opt the U.S. Military. Get all the talking heads on TV to beg the U.S. Military to ignore Tyrant Trump’s orders. Given that the U.S. Military on an institutional basis just doesn’t want to get involved….you invoke your secret weapon.

Invoke The 14th Amendment
It is clear that Trump can’t even *be* president because of his involvement in the January 6th Insurrection. So, while you’re crippling the country with a Women’s Strike, you appeal to the U.S. Military by saying, “You’re still acting legally by toppling Trump because he can’t even be POTUS because of the 14th Amendment.”

Demand A Constitutional Convention
Another goal of the General Strike (Women’s Strike) would be a Constitutional Convention. And it would be organized in a way not to give MAGA the ability to fuck things up. (Having the U.S. Military on your side is pretty cool.)

What Is To Be Done: Tyrant Trump’s Plot Against America

To My Fellow New Lincolnites,

It is a little known fact that the right of revolution is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. I’m a man of peace and of ideas. I hate violence of any sort. And yet these are times that try men’s souls, as Thomas Paine would tell us. It is clear that concentrations camps will be to Trump’s vengeful second term what “the wall” was to his first.

This is of personal interest to me because the same infrastructure used to put “millions” of undocumented people in concentration camps could be used against “vermin” like…me. The thing that gives me a growing sense of frustration is how oblivious the usual suspect nattering nabobs of negativism are to the fact that maybe there are *no* institutions that will step up to save us.

We will have to save ourselves.

The problem we face is there is a certain political momentum to the MAGA Nazi movement that is difficult to defeat using traditional methods. It’s like we’ve all just collectively given up, much like the Roman Empire did in its last few decades. Or, to put a more modern spin on things — freedom loving people are going to appease themselves into a corner.

“What is to be done,” was the question Lenin asked in the years leading up to the Russian Revolution. And I ask that question now, “What is to be done?” I just don’t have a ready answer for you because it seems — as of late 2023 — that it is a historical inevitability that Trump will win a second term and we’re just going to have to sort things out after that.

My fear is that Trump will attempt to use the legal magic pixie dust of the Insurrection Act to knock heads and the U.S. Military will balk at playing the part of some sort of later day SA. There is some sort of “Glorious Revolution” that deposes malignant ding-dong Trump, which, in turn provokes a Secession Crisis as Red States — who want a MAGA Nazi state — get upset and demand a National Divorce.

Before you know it, not only are WMD being used by both sides on U.S. soil, but fucking WW3 has broken out and about 1 billion people die as a number of nuclear-tipped regional conflicts turn hot. If we’re lucky, after a lot of tragic, needless death and destruction “the Good Guys” — people who believe in liberal democracy — win and we have some sort of Second Reconstruction in the context of a complete realignment of the global order — a New World Order, if you will.

But all of that is extremely speculative.

Remember, major historical events are value free while you’re living through them. There is no narrative. I mean, in 1942, your average American had no idea how WW2 was going to end. And, really, all things considered, WW2 ended in a very clean cut way — for the most part — such that The Good Guys won and the Bad Guys lost.

So, predicting what will happen starting in late 2024, early 2025 is impossible. We could very well just punt our problems down the road another four years and all my “hysterical doom shit” will be just that — hysterical doom shit. But I do think we need to think seriously about what the fuck we’re going to do when Trump makes good on his pledge to mass deport people.

And that doesn’t even begin to address what we’re going to do if Trump goes full tyrant and attempts to establish an actual military dictatorship. AND, Trump is fucking old, so it might not even be him who ultimately transitions us from an anocracy into a full Russian-style autocracy.

I dunno. I just dunno.

A Flaw In Project 2025

As I read up on the Nazi consolidation of power in early 1933, I continue to find an interesting flaw in the MAGA Nazi Project 2025 conspiracy. They seem to have a child-like belief that just by having the Insurrection Act in their back pocket they can go about their merry business corrupting the administration of justice.

This is similar how in the days leading up to the Insurrection, John Eastman just kind of waved a hand and said that SCOTUS would be their failsafe. Whatever problems they had in implementing the plot, they knew that the majority MAGA SCOTUS would have their back.

But the thing about the U.S. Military is I’m not willing to assume that they’re willing to be Tyrant Trump’s enforcers, even if there is a thin veneer of legality over Trump’s orders. What the fucking MAGA Nazis are going to probably realize soon enough is that they need a paramilitary arm.

The question is, what happens between the time they invoke the Insurrection Act and when they realize that lulz, maybe the U.S. Military thinks the fucking MAGA Nazis are full of shit and balks at crushing opposition to Project 2025? But it makes a lot of sense that Tyrant Trump at some point in his first 100 days would realize he needed an SA-like organization.

I see there being two possible solutions to his tyrannical problem. One is, he simply weaponizes the already existing ICE infrastructure and turns it into something along the lines of the SS, rather than the SA. That seems the quickest way to “legally” crush dissent. Simply increase the size of ICE dramatically and train them to knock heads.

Meanwhile, there *are* a lot of different little paramilitary groups floating around who are just begging to become the official goons of Tyrant Trump. But that would take time to organize and ramp up. And, what’s more, the United States in 2025 is not Germany in 1933.

The United States is far more decentralized, has a far bigger population and a far stronger tradition of democracy to the point that “land of the free” is kind of our brand. So if Tyrant Trump organizes a paramilitary group to organize and murder people using extra-legal means….people might notice and care.

What is clear to me is that Project 2025 is nothing more than a set up for revolution and counter-revolution (civil war.) In fact, if Project 2025 “catches the car” it seems that we’re on the eve of a historical event unequalled since the French Revolution.

It Definitely Seems As Though Maybe I’ve Been On To Something With My ‘Hysterical Doom Shit’ About Trump & MAGA

I have long be accused by snooty, well respected Twitter liberals — looking at you Mueller, She wrote — of promoting “hysterical doom shit” in regards to Trump and MAGA.

And, yet, shit like the below is not exactly a secret at this point:

It makes you wonder what the practical response on the part of low information voters — the ones who most likely to vote for Trump — should Trump literally go full tyrant. Would anyone care? Or would Trump cram through an American Nazi counter-revolution on the American body politic with little no no resistance?

That specific issue is one I just can’t game out. Not only is the United States a huge population at 335 million people, but Trump still has a lot of slack in the system before he finally, at last, bumps up against American First Principles to the point that things like a General Strike seem viable.

I have my doubts. And, really, the only reason why I think something like a General Strike might happen at some point during Trump’s second term is he is so dumb and so erratic that he is the only person I can think of that might be so political disruptive and destructive that there might be a popular uprising.

But, of course, such an uprising would inevitably prompt a counter-uprising on the part of MAGA.

So, let’s just hope that my hysterical doom shit stays something that resides only in my fevered imagination.

How Low Could Tyrant Trump Go Before The Military Steps In?

Now, before I lay this scenario out, let me be clear — I’m not advocating anything. I’m a man of peace. A man of ideas. And, what’s more, we all know that what I’m about to suggests happened that it would be just the opening salvo into pretty much a civil war / revolution situation.

But, having said that, here goes.

While it’s of course possible that Trump won’t win the 2024 election, it’s also true that at the moment it seems as though he is, in fact, going to win and we have to start to think now about what our reaction to that will be. Trump has made it very clear that he’s pretty much going to become a fucking tyrant the moment he is in power again.

He’s going to arrest people he doesn’t like. He’s going to invoke the Insurrection Act, the list goes on.

Really, the only thing that gives me any hope at the moment is that all these tyrannical things would not happen in a vacuum. If Trump really does go full tyrant straight out of the gate, there may come a point where a lot of well-meaning Traditionalists who voted for Trump because of negative polarization will finally, at last, sit up and take notice.

If Trump actually starts to not only round his critics up so he can “lock them up” AND he uses the military to crack down on any form of dissent, then, lulz, we got a problem on our hands. We may, very well, be going to the show. That’s what so dumb about tyrant Trump — if he had any self control he could get everything he wanted in due time.

But, no, Trump is so dumb that he could do what a civil war and two world wars could not do — cause an actual Glorious Revolution where the 60% of the population that hates Trump and MAGA with a passion actually collectively does something about it.

If Trump is a tyrant and makes all my hysterical doom shit fears become a reality, then there is at least a small possibility that the U.S. Military will step in and depose him in some way. The most logical way such a thing might happen is they could use the legal cover of the 14th Amendment to say both Trump and his veep aren’t legally in office to begin with.

We may find ourselves with a military junta (President James Mattis anyone?) who exists specifically to call up a Constitutional Convention that would enact a series of much-needed structural political reforms.

Another wild card is the issue of impeachment. If Trump goes totally completely fucking tyrannical and nuts from day one, if the House is Democratic, there is a chance that if the country is wracked with massive, rolling protests and there is even a General Strike, then there may be a snap impeachment that flies over to the Senate where Republicans may, at last, find their guts.

Or not. They’re all wussies.

But as I mentioned, Trump is really popular with about 38% of the population. If there was some sort of “Glorious Revolution,” well, there would be a counter-revolution that would probably happen in the guise of a secession crisis.

So. I don’t know. It’s all very curious. I can’t predict the future, so it’s possible that Biden will win re-election and, rather than demanding a National Divorce to stay out of prison, Trump just rants a lot and finally fades into oblivion. We’ll be safe another four years until the usual ebb and flow of a democracy causes a far more sly fascist revolution to take place in 2028 -2029.

Mental Masturbation About Using A Combination of The 14th Amendment & A General Strike To Depose Trump In His Second Term

Two things are generally true about me — I can’t predict the future and no one listens to me. In fact, not a lot of people even take me very seriously. But I am pretty good at making abstract concepts more concrete and also running scenarios.

With all that in mind, let’s mull how we might topple a tyrannical Second Trump Administration. The key issue is it hasn’t happened yet — and may never. So, lulz. But as recent polls indicate, we need to at least begin to contemplate what the fuck we’re going to do if Tyrant Trump gets a second chance at turning us into a Russia-style autocracy.

Now, remember, if it ends up being any other Republican then all of this is moot. Any other Republican would have the wherewithal to be sly and more orderly in their guiding us into a managed democracy. But this is Trump we’re talking about and he’s so dumb and erratic that there’s a good chance that he will really start to do some tyrannical bullshit that causes people to think seriously of something akin to a Glorious Revolution.

But there is a lot I just can’t game out.

It could be that I’m underestimating the patience of the American public. It could be that Trump really can go full tyrant and, well, lulz. He will be so legalistic about doing it that the U.S. Military will shrug and, well, there you go. As long as, in general, he doesn’t touch some basic rights like those found in the 1st Amendment, he will get a pass.

The people who might organize direct action, like a General Strike, will be too busy using their second passports to live in Europe and record their circle jerk podcasts.

Having said all that, it is clear to me that if things really did get that bad that we could use the 14 Amendment combined with a General strike to potentially entice the U. S. Miliary to depose Tyrant Trump. The argument of the Glorious Revolution would be that legally Trump was ineligible to run in the first place, so neither he — nor his running mate — are legally in office.

Now, some context.

Not only would both the United States and the entire world be in the middle of a massive clusterfuck if things get so bad that we’re talking like this, but there would be an equal and opposite reaction by MAGA. It’s not like they would just shrug and be cool with deposing their Dear Fucking Leader.

So. Any talk of combining a General Strike with the 14the Amendment is essentially advocating a civil war and I’m not prepared to do that. But I do think we all need to prepare ourselves for something astonishing to happen in the United States starting in late 2024, early 2025.

I can’t predict the future, so I suppose it’s possible that we may punt our problems down the road again, like we did in 2020. By my fear is even if we “just vote” and defeat Trump that he will, unto himself, spark a National Divorce — civil war — simply because he doesn’t want to go prison.

Sigh.

I’m Growing Worried

We’re now almost exactly a year away from one of the most election days in American history. At the moment, it seems, we’re careening towards a crisis not seen since 1860. This crisis could manifest itself in one of several ways.

The most obvious way is, lulz, we simply drift into autocracy with our eyes wide open and shrug as we transition from the halfway situation of being an “anocracy” to full blown autocracy. Trump is re-elected, he goes full tyrant and there’s no reaction on the part of the majority of the population. Of course, that doesn’t mention the 1 million smug Twitter liberals who will flee the country en masse as soon as it’s clear Trump is going to transition us into autocracy.

That scenario, for the time being, seems to be the most likely one.

Alas, there are some other, far darker scenarios that we have to contend with.

One scenario is Trump is re-elected, goes full tyrant and, well, he gets so absolutely bad that there is some sort of “Glorious Revolution” on the part of the populace — maybe with the help of the U.S. Military. I could see the organizers of such a coup using a novel — to say the least — interpretation of the 14th Amendment insurrection clause to kick Trump to the curb by saying he was never legitimately president to begin with.

That might be the legal fig leaf that would allow the New Patriots to get the job done and still be able to sleep at night. But there would be a spectrum with this scenario, with there being a “light touch” revolt that has the specific aim of getting rid of Trump all the way to a far more general collapse of the country because MAGA freaks out.

But, wait, there’s more.

Another situation would be Trump loses, and starts to demand a National Divorce with the specific intent of him personally avoiding going to jail. Then we have a repeat of 1860-1861 with states leave the Union one by one and a massive fucking clusterfuck.

Meanwhile, there is a small chance that rather than wait until Trump goes full tyrant, Blues freak out and do something akin to a civil war / revolution of their own starting as soon as Trump is named the winner.

But my thinking on this has evolved. I no longer think that Blues would cause a civil war. A revolution, maybe, but not a civil war. It’s just the temperament of Blues to want to start a new nation. Blues like me just want to reform and remake the nation that we have.

One last thing — never underestimate the possibility that Reds will, once Trump is in office, begin the process of calling a Constitutional Convention. I think that’s a real possibility.

Anyway. Good luck. You’ve got a year. Use it wisely.

MAGA Mike Is Doing America A Favor By Being Who He Is

The thing about Speaker MAGA Mike Johnson is the more I learn about him, the more I know my conservative relatives — whom I love dearly — will love, love love him. I would even go so far as to suggest that they will soon be chomping at the bit for malignant ding-dong Trump to name the Speaker his 2024 veep choice.

The thing about MAGA Mike is he’s pretty much just your typical modern MAGA person. A solid 38% of the electorate loooooooves what he has to say on the culture wars and the “vibes” that are tearing the country at the moment.

After much, much, much, much time brooding over what the fuck is going wrong with America on a systemic basis, I think I may have it figured out. A combination of growing income inequality, the browning of America and women’s economic agency is tearing the country apart on an existential basis.

The browning of America is really key to America’s instability because it feeds into a white identity politics narrative. America is zooming towards a tipping point where we’re kind of like South Africa in the sense that a minority of the country controls a majority of the political and economic power. This is a very fucked up situation, no matter which nation it happens to occur in.

Anyway, we’re reaching a moment in time when Americans collectively figure out what our future will be for generations to come. Do we become an autocratic MAGA state of blood and soil, or do we allow things like the browning of America and women becoming economic equals happen as they should?

I have a fear, of course, that we’re going to “take it to the streets,” if you will. We’re going to have at it against each other in our struggle to figure out what type of America we want to be. If Trump becomes POTUS again in 2025, the possibility of a Blue “Glorious Revolution” and a reactionary counter-revolution on the part of MAGA grows by leaps and bounds.

But if it’s NOT Trump who is our MAGA POTUS, then I think we simply shrug and become an autocratic white Christian ethnostate with a thin gloss of lingering 1st Amendment rights.

Imagining An American ‘Glorious Revolution’ Against Tyrant Trump Starting In Late 2024, Early 2025

I hate violence. Hell, I hate conflict of any sort. But, as we enter being about one year away from the so-called “Fourth Turning,” I find myself thinking about what might be the BEST case scenario in a huge, massive clusterfuck.

Now, in real terms, I think the United States just slipping peacefully into autocracy is probably the absolute best scenario of a wide rage of really shitty outcomes. And, yet, if you think about what might be best if we want to remain a functioning democracy, there is the “Glorious Revolution” option.

This is all very speculative and I still can’t really game it out, but, in general, this would be where things get so fucking bad under Tyrant Trump that the 60% of the American population that wants to remain the “land of the free” rises up and brings Trump down, MAYBE with the help of the U.S. Military.

But it would go something like this — starting in January 2025, Tyrant Trump lives up to his name and he’s so full of hate and the need for revenge that a lot of common folk who, to date, have lulzed Trump’s tyrannical inclinations will sit up and take notice.

I think of these people as political “Radical Moderates” As such, even though about 1 million smug Twitter liberals will have left the country by that point, enough of us Poors join forces that we manage to bring Tyrant Trump’s tyrannical regime to its knees.

I could see not only mass protests as things got progressively worst under Tyrant Trump, but maybe, just maybe, that unicorn of American political levers — the General Strike. Americans are so chill — even under duress — that it’s really difficult to imagine something as out of the ordinary as a General Strike.

But we live in unprecedented times. And, according to political science, all you need is a motivated 5% of the population to bring down the government. So, it’s easy to imagine if Trump somehow managed to sign a complete, and total, ban on abortion of any sort in the context of pulling out of NATO and South Korea and God only knows what the fuck else, that women, if nothing else, might collectively decide to YOLO it and just not go into work until Trump is out of power.

Now, before this seems like too rosy a scenario, there would obviously be an equal and opposite reaction on the part of MAGA if, say, Congress was actually thinking of doing something about Trump. So, things would really be totally chaotic as the two sides tore the country apart.

What might START as a “Glorious Revolution” against Tyrant Trump, might endup as just a regular old fucking Second American Civil War.

So, as I mentioned before, lulz. I guess I’m cool with us slipping peacefully into a MAGA-themed autocracy.
