The Vision Thing: How To Topple Tyrant Trump’s MAGA Nazi Regime

Absolutely no one listens to me, so this is just me having some fun using my native tendency to run scenarios. As I keep saying, at the moment it seems as though the MAGA Nazi plot against America being concocted by Agenda47 and Project 2025 has a crucial flaw: no paramilitary group.

Tyrant Trump, because he is a lazy doofus, simply assumes that if he invokes the Insurrection Act that that, unto itself, will be enough to pacify a restless nation mad at him for going full MAGA Nazi tyrant.

The crux of the issue is, well, Trump.

Any other Republican — ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN — could peacefully shepherd us into an autocratic managed democracy without any problems. American democracy is on its last legs.

But this is ding-dong Trump. So he’s going to come into power in 2025 and frantically do all sorts of things that will really, really piss people off — many of them Traditionalists — and, as such, prime the country for something we’ve never seen before: a military coup.

Now, remember, even if Trump has some sort of secret underground mass of paramilitary people waiting to pop out in late January 2025, he can’t use them to do what the Nazis used the SA to do — browbeat people into submission. The country is too big, too decentralized and has too strong a democratic tradition.

So, if the MAGA Nazis “win” it will be because Radical Moderates let them win. As such, as I’ve written before, what I would do is organize some sort of massive strike. Women, because they really, really hate Trump, would be the perfect group to lean into with any sort of national strike. At least at first.

But for either a Women’s Strike are a General Strike to work, things would have to be really, really, REALLY bad. Americans, in general, are pretty laid back. We just don’t even think in terms of a General Strike. We think if we vote, thing gradually we get what we want. So for a General Strike to happen, Trump would have to have corrupted the administration of justice in such a conspicuous, dramatic way that millions of Americans would freak the fuck out.

I think if things did get that bad, then you have a Women’s Strike, then a General Strike and then you appeal to the U.S. Military to remove Tyrant Trump because of the 14th Amendment. I know a court in Colorado spit the difference on that issue just today, but if the U.S. Military is involved, that, unto itself, would be enough pressure to get the courts to say, “Yeah, Trump can’t even be in office. Have at it.”

The last goal of any General Strike would be the calling up of a Constitutional Convention. But it would have to be done in such a way that the fucking MAGA Nazis couldn’t cram through MAGA Nazi Enabling Acts.

One last thing — none of this would happen in a vacuum. It would not be fun. It would be scary as hell because there is a pretty good chance that if we did manage to topple Tyrant Trump, that there would be a Secession Crisis because of it as Red States left the Union in protest.

So, I don’t want any of this to really happen. I just like to run scenarios. I like to make my abstract fears concrete. Keep the faith.

An American Military Coup In 2025 Is Now A Viable Option

While it’s EXTREMELY UNLIKELY, it’s at least *possible* that some combination of a General Strike, a much-delayed invocation of the 14th Amendment and a military coup might happen in the United States at some point starting in early 2025.

The reason is simple — Trump and his Agenda47 & Project 2025 simply believe that invoking the Insurrection Act will magically allow them to pin the American populace down while they transition us into some sort of autocratic military dictatorship.

That’s not these things work. That’s not how any of this works!

The U.S. Military is a very pro-democratic (small d) institution and no amount of filling the Defense Department with a bunch hand-picked fascist goons will change that. And they can fire all the leaders in the military they like, too — they would be grasping at straws because they don’t have an SA. They don’t have a paramilitary group at their beck and call to knock heads on a practical basis.

And, what’s more, even if MAGA is plotting so top secret large-scale paramilitary organization, the 2025 USA is not 1933 Weimar Germany. The US is a very decentralized country will millions of people, a large land footprint and a long, deep tradition of democracy.

That is why if anyone else was in Trump’s position, then, yeah, I could see us peacefully transitioning into a MAGA-themed autocracy. Because they would be smart about it and slowly, bit by bit transition us into a managed democracy like what is found in Russia, Turkey and Hungary.

But this is malignant ding-dong Trump we’re talking about. He’s going to swoop in and frantically try to get revenge on anyone who has hurt his fee-fees to the point that he could very well shock a lot, A LOT of those sweet, sweet Traditionalists who to date have been willing to be quite simply so they can put kids in cages.

I say this as someone who has come to believe that the only “red line” for Traditionalists when it comes to MAGA Nazis is the personal. So it doesn’t really matter what the use, the Insurrection Act or some super-secret expansion of the Patriot Front — the moment MAGA Nazis are to, well, act like MAGA Nazis, there is probably going to be some sort of mass uprising in the United States.

Now, if anyone would listen to me — but they never do — what I would do is start NOW to organize some sort of Women’s Strike. Start to tell women across the country that if Trump is re-elected and he goes full Nazi tyrant, to simply not go to work. En masse. For a few days.

Remember, any reaction on the part of MAGA Nazi Tyrant Trump would probably evoke a severe response from Americans who otherwise wise don’t even think about politics. If Trump tries to crush a Women’s strike using the Insurrection Act OR via some expanded Patriot Front, it would not happen in a vacuum.

There would be consquences.

Now, in my fevered imagination, once a few very pissed off women stopped going to work, you could use that momentum to organize a General Strike. Then you pitch the idea to the U.S. Military that *legally* Trump and his toady Veep aren’t even legally in office.

Ta-da. There you go. End Trump problem. Now, doing that would cause a series of OTHER problems. You would have to make sure the Speaker of the House wasn’t MAGA Mike. And you would also need to somehow force a non-MAGA aligned Constitutional Convention be called up.

This whole plot has been complicated just now by the fact that a judge has determined that the 14th Amendment doesn’t apply to Trump. But will note that during Reconstruction there were some…novel…interpretations of the Constitutional that would be similar to how a Radical Moderate might use against Trump to oust him.

But, anyway….lulz. No one listens to me. No one cares.

MAGA House Republicans Are Such Idiots

This is so dumb. Just get it over with, you idiots. But I guess they just want to slow walk any impeachment of Biden so they can make the whole thing conflated in the minds of low information voters.

The Absence Of A MAGA SA is a Fatal Flaw In The Project 2025 & Agenda47 Plot Against American Democracy

It is clear to me that while it’s not impossible for MAGA to transition us from an anocracy to an autocracy starting in early 2025, the absence of a modern day SA certainly does complicate matters for them. There are a lot of small paramilitary groups, but no single group at the direction of Trump that could bash heads in like the SA did in the first 100 days of Nazi rule in 1933.

As it stands, both Agenda47 and Project 2025 simply assume that they can use corrupt the administration of justice and the executive to the point that, lulz, “vermin” like me will get what we deserve. I have my doubts. Even though nattering nabob of negativism Tom Nichols politely told me I was full of shit on Twitter when I suggested that maybe the U.S. Military might balk at being goons for MAGA, I still believe it’s at least *possible.*

I think it’s at least possible that the U.S. Military might depose Trump in some way, maybe using the 14th Amendment as the legal cover to make themselves feel better. But let me be clear — if that happens, things really will be very, very bad in the United States. I could only see it happening in the context of a successful General Strike.

And for a General Strike to be successful, otherwise generally complacent American will have truly become “woke.”

Remember, the U.S. of 2025 is significantly different than the Germany of 1933. You couldn’t just build out a paramilitary group in secret and then sucker punch the American population with it. The one paramilitary group I’m actually afraid of — the Patriot Front — is passionate and well organized, but small as far as I can tell.

A successful MAGA SA would need hundreds of thousand of members willing to use unprecedented violence and intimidation to browbeat a lot of freedom loving American into submission. THAT, not the Insurrection Act, is what the fucking MAGA Nazis need if they’re going to us in to an autocratic white Christian ethnostate.

Some context. All of this hysterical doom shit assumes it’s Trump doing this. This is all sort of inevitable and if a sane Republican was in charge of it, then we really would just sort of slouch towards autocracy. But Trump and his dingus Agenda47 people are not only lazy but bonkers so they seem to think simply invoking the Insurrection Act will solve all their problems.

So, I don’t know. It will definitely be interesting to see how things work out going forward. If I had the means, I guess I would flee the country in late 2024, early 2025 like all the fucking smug Twitter liberals with their circle jerk podcasts.

The Curious Case Of MAGA & The Jews

One of the more fucked up situations in modern politics is the situation with the fucking MAGA Nazis and Jewish people. What the fuck is up with that? MAGA is clearly careening towards some sort of American Nazism but because of a quirk of Trump’s personal life that trend is hampered.

And that doesn’t even begin to address how fucked it is that Stephen Miller is Jewish and yet he clearly wants to be MAGA’s Joseph Goebbels — he even looks like him! So, in a sense Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner and Stephen Miller are the canaries in coalmine.

Most likely what will happen is Trump gets re-elected, goes full tyrant and it’s not until his demise at some point in the future that the more Nazi elements of MAGA finally begin to bubble up to the surface.

But that doesn’t address other issues. Once we become an antisemitic autocratic MAGA Nazi state, how will that influence our relationship to Israel? It’s all very curious and difficult to game out. Yet I do believe that it is inevitable that once we’re a MAGA Nazi state that because form follows function that while the camps will at first be opened for undocumented people, soon enough, Jews — and freaky weirdos like me — will end up there, too.

Of AI & Hollywood: Hear, Hear Justine Bateman

The latest episode of The Town evoked a strong reaction. I was stunned that the producer of the podcast stepped in at one point and said that he didn’t believe anyone would watch an AI generated movie. Oh boy. Talk about clueless. The guest on the episode, Justine Bateman, was totally spot on with a number of the points that she made.

The issue being — she’s right that SAG should have gotten a definition of what an “actor” is like the DGA and the WGA got for director and writer. The thing for me is we’re zooming towards an era in which 99.9% of Hollywood movies are AI generated. To the point that “artisanal” movies will be given special value. And it’s also possible that as such, Broadway and other live theatre will see a sudden surge in interest because of the “human touch.”

But, otherwise, the Hollywood of the future is going to be just Suits and Programmers. There will be no directors, writers or actors. Everything will be AI generated. It was heartening how much Ms. Bateman echoed a lot of the writing I’ve done on this blog since ChatGPT first came out.

And, really, I fear there’s not a lot that people like Ms. Bateman can do to stop the looming AI transformation of Hollywood. All types of entertainment and art will be totally “disrupted” by AI over the next 18 months. To the point that we might be having a “Fourth Turning” politically in late 2024, early 2025 just as we’re also having a “Petite Singularity” technologically.

Regardless, the next year or so could be extremely bumpy. Some pretty dramatic things could happen starting in late 2024, early 2025 that totally transformed the everyday lives of billions of people across the globe.

The Storytelling Snob: Writing A Good Pop Mystery-Thriller Novel Is Hard Work For Me

Jesus Christ. I have a really, really good idea for a novel, but I also have very, very high expectations for myself. As such, I find myself writing and rewriting the same shit over and over and over and over again. It can grow rather tedious. But occasionally I see the sparkle of the story I know I have in me.

I struggle with how this came about. I think some of it is not only am I doing all of his in a vacuum, but the story itself is just way more ambitious than I thought going into things. As such, I have had too many plot points crammed into too few scenes with not enough character development.

That has begun to change, however.

It’s just I have such fucking arbitrary rules about how to tell the story the way I want to tell it that I can get bogged own in very specific issues that the average causal reader will never, ever notice.

They shoot writers, don’t they?

Anyway. I have a lot of hope. I just have to buckle down and work both harder and faster. I can’t keep drifting towards my goal. I am in a very idyllic situation right now and it just can’t last. Something Big is going to change my life one way or another soon enough.

It’s just a matter of what it is.

I Fucking Hate MAGA Nazis

There are two things I fucking hate in this world with a fucking white hot rage — MAGA Nazis and guns. It boggles my mind both that anyone could be a MAGA Nazi and that anyone would love guns so much they want to fuck them.

But let’s talk MAGA Nazis.

The issue is that I’m just the type of person that malignant ding-dong Trump claims is “vermin.” While MAGA Nazis are going to start by putting undocumented people in camps, soon enough, they will make their way from Jewish people to freaky weirdos like me.

Ugh.

Though, I will note again that MAGA is missing a very important part of consolidating power — they don’t have an SA. They seem to think that invoking the Insurrection Act is some sort of magic pixie dust that will make all their problems go away.

I still contend that there is a pretty good chance that the U.S. Military will balk at being use reduce to simply MAGA Nazi goons. Hence, it’s possible that MAGA Nazis will, at some point in their first few days of power consolidation, realize they need something akin to the Nazi SA. If we’re lucky, by the time they manage to organize something like that, the Good Guys will have managed to use a combination of the 14th Amendment, a General Strike and the U.S. Military to topple Tyrant Trump.

Of course that would probably cause a Secession Crisis, but I don’t like to think about that.

And, remember — I can’t predict the future. It’s just all the conditions are there for late 2024, early 2025 to be a massive, historic clusterfuck. Hopefully, though, not only will Biden win re-election, but Trump will just slink into the darkness when he loses. We can thus punt our problems down the road another four years.

A Woman Of Two Worlds & The Men She Loves

While it feels like I keep spinning my wheels with this third draft of the novel, something really intriguing is beginning to take shape. I *think* I may have come up with an interesting way to cause a lot of drama — my heroine has two men in her life.

I imagine my heroine looking like a younger version of Nicole Scherzinger.

Each one represents a different thing in her mind and heart. One represents the past, while the other represents the future. One represents the stripping part of her life, while the other represents the journalistic part of her life.

Or something. Something like that. It’s not a perfect fit, but just thinking in those terms is making my insight into the character a lot easier.

I’ve also of late been doing a lot of “outside the box” thinking about which POVs I use, which should come handy later on. I’m really giving people a sense of character when it comes to the unlikely “investigative team” by heroine ultimately assembles to solve the mystery she’s confronted with.

The key thing is I’m kind of in put-up-or-shut-up mode at the moment. I’m not getting any younger — Stieg Larsson dropped dead at my age — and I really, really need to push myself harder. I have to get into the second act as quickly as possible while still maintaining high quality copy.

And that doesn’t even begin to address how I want to dip into screenwriting now as well. But, lulz, I’m being delusional like always, I guess.
